MemorableMinutes helps travelers plan Himachal trips and connect with local merchant partners. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password when you register as a traveler or merchant partner.
- Trip inputs: budget, travel dates or duration, companions, origin city and preferences (for example snow, safe roads, adventure) that you enter into the planner.
- Itineraries and saved trips you choose to store in your account.
- Merchant profiles: business name, category, district, pricing and descriptions submitted by merchant partners.
- Booking requests and leads you send to a merchant, including the trip they relate to.
How we use your information
- To generate personalised Himachal itineraries. Your trip inputs are sent to a third-party AI model provider solely to produce your plan; they are not used to build advertising profiles.
- To connect you with local hotels, homestays, taxi operators, activity providers and permit facilitators when you request a booking or lead.
- To operate, secure and improve the service, including basic product analytics.
- To communicate with you about your account, trips and booking requests.
Sharing with merchant partners
- When you submit a booking request or lead, the relevant merchant receives the trip context needed to respond (destination, dates, party size, budget range) and a way to reach you.
- Merchants may only use this information to fulfil your request. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention and security
- Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Sessions use signed tokens stored on your device.
- Saved trips and leads remain until you delete them or close your account.
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure.
Your choices
- You can delete saved trips at any time from My Trips.
- You can request account deletion or a copy of your data by contacting us at the address below.
- You can uninstall the app or clear site data to remove locally cached content and sign-in tokens.
Children
- MemorableMinutes is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
